Hello everyone. Unfortunately I don't know German, but I currently live in Germany and my case is sent to Frankfurt. I found this post thanks to Google translate.

Our case was sent to Frankfurt on May 16, 2019, and since then I am waiting for the P3. I was thinking everyone else whose case was sent in the same shipment was waiting like me.

So, isn't this P3 a straightforward letter? Do they need to look at our case before sending it? Because jrs439's case was sent along ours I suppose, and apparently they already got it. On the other hand many couples are still waiting.

I asked the consulate about P3 after providing my case number and case arrival date, and today I received this email. In ceac.state.gov our case status is READY, last update is May 28. I am really confused. Appreciate any comments!

"Please note that the packet 3 letter is the notification that the Consulate has received your application.  Up until then we do not have access to your case, thus, we may not provide you with a status update nor update any information with the application."

I am getting impatient because I'm waiting in Germany only for the visa interview..

Hi, NVC received our case May 17, 2018 and we received the packet 3 on May 26.

Thank you very much for your response. Based on the emails I received from the consulate I am concerned about our case now...

I'm still waiting and @Kat & K is also still waiting. Both of us have the same timeline like you. No need to be concerned.

I wouldn’t be worried. The process is usually very smooth at the embassy in Frankfurt. Me and one of my friends had the very same timeline at the beginning yet we ended up having a few weeks difference at the later stage of the process.

I wanted to follow up on this issue re: not receiving our P3 from Frankfurt.

I just got off the phone with the NVC and they absolutely insisted they sent our application to the Frankfurt consulate on May 14, 2019 (sent digitally, not by mail). They also confirmed that they could see it was in Frankfurt's system and has been since that day. Despite this, Frankfurt sends us rude canned responses saying they do not have our application and can not provide any information.

We're not sure what to do now. I guess we'll wait a couple more weeks before we start worrying too much, but the situation is a little frustrating. Our best guess is that Frankfurt has it, is too busy to process it, and so just tells us they don't have it.

We had the same issue. We knew from our status that it was in Frankfurt but they kept telling us they don’t have it. You just gotta wait a little longer. We got our p3 about 5 weeks after Frankfurt had received it.

There is absolutely no need to worry at this point. As @Letspaintcookies said, our file has been send in the exact same shipment as yours. We don't have our P3 yet either. Here's why the Embassy might say they don't "have" your application: it's simply not processed yet. It arrived, but it's sitting there until they get to it. You can tell that the Embassy is a bit flooded right now by the waiting times to schedule appointments (being fully booked a month or more in advance is a pretty good indicator of that I'd say) - I know it's annoying to wait for it, but I hope you can stop worrying about something being wrong. We'll get there.

Thanks you :) we feel better about the delay now. Their emails confused us for a while. I hope we all get it soon.

Hi,

last Friday I received the request to schedule an interview for my K1 visa in Frankfurt. I went online and the only appointment available was July 22nd. That's a 45 days wait! How are my chances that there will be earlier appointments showing up online? I'm checking several times a day but had to luck so far.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi!

I'm still waiting for the P3, however, as I know there are only a few days in a month that they accept K1 interviews. You can keep checking to see if there is an opening for an earlier interview date. I suppose this would only happen if another beneficiary cancels/postpones his/her interview. This is my personal view. You can find more information in this webpage in other subforums.

By the way, did you receive any other posts which required your signature from the consulate after sending P3 back to them? Or did you just received a notifying email/letter?

Hi BiAdam,

After I sent in my P3 I got an email that I need to send in the tax transcripts of my fiancé. After I did that it took them maybe a week to confirm they got it. A day later I got the request to schedule an interview appointment. Everything was by email, so no signatures required.

Hi,

We got the ok to schedule an interview on Friday as well, but it wasn't opened up until Tuesday. Not just the earliest, but the only day available was July 29th. My guess is they are busier than normal.

I heard that they are really busy too.

Does someone has an interview appointment in the last two weeks of June or in the beginning of July? Just curious.

I noted down July 2, 12 and 29 for the appointment days. These dates are from visajourney members. I was curious how many days the consulate reserving in a month for K1 interviews. If we add yours (July 22) , it makes 4 days in July!
