(Visa ausstellt)

Keinen blassen Schimmer leider.

Hallo!

Hallo an alle!

Hello everyone! A question for those who have already obtained their visa through the embassy in Frankfurt ...

Can the passport photos be in normal German format? Or do they have to be in US format?

Thank you and best regards!

Hiya, I did see this. My question was if anyone who went through the FRA embassy had brought passport photos that were up to the German standard. I have no idea on where to obtain that ☝️ size of professional photos here in Stuttgart except from the photo booth on base but those photos turn out horrible as light is a mess - the last ones we took looked like gangster photos- not necessarily what I would like to look alike on my GC 😉

I just told the photographer I go to what I needed and he went for it 🙈 since he prints and cuts them himself, it doesn't make a difference to him. Maybe try calling a photographer in your area and explain what you need?
(That bein said, I stuck to the format they're asking for for all three of my visas, so I can't really answer your initial question on whether or not other formats would be accepted.)
