Does anyone know if mrsa will  be cause for denial?

What do you mean? Does the applicant have MRSA or is he/she living in an area with a MRSA outbreak? Do the medical forms you are submitting to USCIS include that the applicant has MRSA?

She gets the same kind of bumps people get from MRSA and they leave holes and scars after they are gone. We are going to the Dr. tomorrow so she can get tested to find out for sure before she has her medical.

Communicable diseases generally make an applicant inadmissible (http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/how-health-issues-can-make-you-inadmissible-the-us.html). Should she have MRSA, I think it would be a good idea to apply for the visa after the doctor confirms a clean bill of health. That's best for everyone concerned, including people already living in the USA.

MRSA has been a concern for border patrol agents.

I'm not well informed about the K-1 process so it'd be good if others with more experience chime in.
