Hello everybody!

I'm digging the web and going a little crazy because of contradictory informations concerning the fees for AOS (after K1). I'm filing AOS at the same time with EAD and AP.

-For I-485 the fees are 1225$ (including 85$ for biometrics), this is right (right?)

-Concerning Advance Parole I-131, the information on USCIS website (https://www.uscis.gov/i-131) is clear : no additional fees.

But concerning EAD (I-765), I find it more confusing, on VJ I've read that there is no additionnal fees as far as we mail it altogether. On USCIS instruction sheet I don't see the (c) (9) in the list of exception.. Did it change recently? Do I have to add the 410$ to the payment?

Is someone in the same case filed recently? I'm a little lost, thank you for your help !!

Good evening!

Cecile

Hi there,

Adjusting from k1, filled January and got my EAD already.

Just one check of $1,225 for everything.

AP and EAD are free of charge.

No need for additional fee and yes use the c9 categories to adjust from a k1.

Good luck !

I'll add to triple-check you are submitting everything. Our I-131 was rejected outright because it was missing the last page with the signature (which I presume USCIS lost since I have complete copies of the whole packet and haven't found the 'missing' signature). When we re-submitted they expected us to pay the separate fee on top of the already cashed $1,225.
