We can only speculate how Hillary Clinton's first hundred days might have gone. With Trump actually being in office we can actually see how badly it has gone, or keep drinking the Kool Aid and grooving on alternative facts.

Donald Trump won the election and has treated the US, and the world, with the biggest loss of support in our Nations history (more reality.) Nobody trusts this Bozo unless they are swilling some serious Kool Aid. 

The bigger question is, is this loss of support real or imaginary?  Again, we all know President Trump is rough and unrefined, and Anna Wintour won't be inviting him to her home for any refined parties, but he does appeal to those in the middle of the pack all over the world.  He has done some things I don't agree with (Bannon, and Priebus), but he has also made some good moves (Neil Gorsuch, China Trade, etc.).  I know we live in a world that wants instant results, but I take a longer view.  No president fulfills all of their campaign promises, and certainly not within the first 100 days.  Time will tell with President Trump much the same way as it was with President Obama.  Both entered the Oval Office with little political experience (Obama only marginally more than Trump), but the vitriol from the establishment is much worse with President Trump then it ever was with President Obama.

No doubt Donald Trumps core support remains in place, firmly loving the ineptitude and chaos emanating from the Trump Administration and Trump himself. They, like Dear Leader view all negative press as 'fake.' All efforts to quantify the ever decreasing approval also 'fake.' All criticism of the poor performance of Trump is merely sour grapes, fits if you prefer over Hillary Clinton losing the election.

 

If one sets aside reality, only accepts the Tweets, edicts, and alternative facts spewed by the White House, and filters all contrary information through the above outlined lenses, Donald Trump is doing great. A broken clock is right twice a day, so there is that small comfort when reality creeps in uninvited and unwanted.

Trump is weak and his base knows it. He is unfit for the office he was elected and his base knows it. He is an idiot, and his base knows it. Ironically Trump came to deliver on all the fears the MOR/MDRs spread about Obama. However they can't find the courage to admit it, so they double down on supporting their supreme leader at the expense of the prestige and standing of America in the world.

I think the question is do we really want our President appealing to the people "all around the world" that Trump is appealing to? He certainly isn't appealing to most of our more traditional allies. Perhaps he is appealing to Russia, especially when giving them classified information.

 

There is no denying there is a group that like him not just in the USA but elsewhere. At least in the USA it remains a minority, and he remains the President with the worst approval ratings ever at this time in office. Similarly I'd like to believe those that "approve" of him elsewhere are a minority. Or a majority of a group that I don't think we should feel proud for appealing to.
