hi all,

my husband got his passport back with the visa in it, and we finally feel like we can breathe again.

i was just looking at my timeline at the 370+ days it took to get from NOA1 to the interview.  add onto that the actual day we sent in the i-130 + days we waited after the interview, it's about 400 days!  i thought, 'i don't know how i got through the stress of it all,' but then i DO know - it was the VJ community.  YOU!

so i just wanted to say thank you to the community here.  it really has been so helpful to be able to come on here and post questions, or read peoples' past experiences and learn from them.  thank you for being willing to share your mistakes and heed your warnings.  thank you for your generousity and sharing the wealth of knowledge!  and thank you, mostly, for your encouragement when it seemed like things weren't happening, or when we were feeling like this was a bottomless pit we'll never get out of.  the emotional support i have seen on the boards here, and that i have experienced myself just to see someone excited or disappointed with us was so necessary and helpful to get through this entire process.

i know i won't be done asking my questions and checking the forums, but i just wanted to say thank you, first, for being with us to get through this first part.  thank you for helping me keep my sanity.  and thank you for always having advice to give, and examples to look at & learn from.  thank you.
