My fiancé is here in the USA and we are getting married soon. I will submit form I-485 to adjust his status most likely at the end of this month. His daughter is a k-2 follow to joint on August. Do I need to file I-485 for her now or later. Do I need to file another form for her to let them know she is abroad. Please Help

I read the instruction and they got me confused stating I have to file jointly or form I-824 I think.

Form I-864

Thats the financial form. If filed together the child will only need a copy of moms in their package. When not filed at same time as mom then yes you'll also have to file that form.

Also file for EAD and AP also. Child need EAD to get SSN before the GC comes

Hi ! Is there anybody who knows what do I need to write in form I-485 on Page 2, Part " Recent Immigration history" 23c ? They ask "Status on form I-94". And I don't know what to write? I tried " K-1", but the form didn't allow. It said I can write only letters and space.

Thank you.
