What documents are needed to travel out of the country?

I apologize if I didn't post this incorrect area. Traveling to Jamaica for vacation in June, just want to be sure all my husband needs for re-entry is his passport and green card? Seems like I saw somewhere about a re-entry form, but was only necessary for stays over a year? USCIS says passport, green card, and other documents such as his drivers license. Just double checking. Thanks in advance.

For trips under a year, a green card and passport are all that is required. However, for extended time outside the country (i.e. over 6 months), getting a reentry permit is suggested to show to CBP that your permanent residence was not abandoned.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
