I married my wife in the Philippines in January of 2016. I stayed there for almost 3 weeks, then flew back to the US and started the Visa process. Everything is going fine up until her interview on 12/12/16. After the interview they wanted more paperwork, mostly just ID proof which she provided. This went on until March of 2017 when they wanted her to fly back to Manila for a second interview scheduled for 4/28/17. They asked questions about why she is leaving her 2 children behind (ages 13 & 16). We intend to bring them over soon, but can't afford get everyone over at once. The lady asking questions, who apparently was American, said my wife is selfish for doing this. They are both staying with family and are doing just fine. We have not heard from the NVC since that interview. I think they might believe the marriage is fraudulent, which it is not. We both love each other very much and talk every night. We are just at a loss as to what they are doing, and why it is taking so long to get any kind of an answer. Does anyone have any ideas what the hold up is?
