Question about NVC after NOA2

So I got my NOA2 hard copy in the mail today with a notice date of 5/05/2017. From what I have seen this is very fast for receiving NOA2 hard copy after approval. My NOA2 clearly states that my case "has been" forwarded to the consulate listed in my packet. (obviously it goes to NVC first). Since I got my NOA2 hard copy that fast is it possible NVC will have my case number for me this week?

Please note that I did apply for an expedite early last week.

It's highly unlikely that NVC will receive your case as fast. We got our hardcopy NOA2 3 or 4 days after approval, but NVC didn't receive the case & assign a number till 3 weeks later!

I wouldn't use the speed of receiving the NOA2 hardcopy as a sign of anything. From NOA2 to NVC can take up to 6 weeks, albeit it's usually within 1-3 weeks. Then it spends about a week there, then about a week to get to the embassy.

 

The expedite won't impact anything at this point.

.maybe it fluctuates a lot? I have seen a lot of timelines where it only spends maybe 3 days at NVC and another 3 to get to embassy

Like everything at USCIS, that's correct. But that's in alignment with what I noted above (about a [business] week at NVC and another to get to the embassy). The longest wait here is from NOA2 to NVC. From then onward, things move much faster.
