I keep hearing  ratholing on Comeys performance and how much Trump supporters are in chorus lock step with liberals in calling for Comeys dismissal.  I am glad to see you agree with the MDL on at least something.

The President is lying....we all know what this is about..it is about the Russian investigation, even if there is only smoke and it is about loyalty to the President.  You may be drinking the coolaid on this because you draw some sort of comfort from backing up the President...good for you.

 

 I don't know what this is all about, whether there was or wasnt collusion, whether Flynn and Stone were feeding details back to their Russian paymasters...that is it the role of the FBI to investigate BUT I do know that Trump acts like he is Putins  ( Take a look at the actions today)  and the president refuses to dispel the smoke.

Nice answer to the question.   By the way, Comey started the investigation last July (2016) which by my calendar comes before January (2017), so how would firing in January be any less outrageous using your logic?

This is just precious.  Maxine Waters on MSNBC tap dancing back her 'Comey incompetent' remarks from only a week or so ago.  Apparently she said that after reviewing the progress of the investigation which apparently was not leading to the conclusion she wished (my conclusion).

I know this by looking at the situation and not putting my head in the sand. Party or ideology doesn't really play into this.

No party ideology here, but I am still waiting for definitive proof which no one has shown even after almost a year of the FBI investigating.  Maxine Waters all but said Comey was an incompetent director after reviewing the investigation details in a closed door meeting which tells me there is no smoking gun to her satisfaction.  Diane Feinstein came out and said there was no evidence of collusion.  So who has their head in the sand?  Neither of these elected officials have any love for the Trump Administration, but let's keep digging.  This is sounding like the people that believe a conspiracy in everything (Kennedy Assisination, Moon Landing, 9/11).  The thing that concerns me the most in this whole sordid mess is what the Obama Administration was doing to a rival political party.  If this doesn't concern you then I guess ideology is your thinking as there doesn't appear to be any valid purpose for this other than for political reasons.

If we did not  have this  investigation, .Flynn wood be running our national security and now he is offering to plea. 

The fact that you are not concerned that three officials investigating issues in Trumps sphere are let go under dodgy  pretext speaks volumes about what filters are on here.  Its too bad folks are putting this buffoon of a president before the security and interest of the  country.

 

Turn the situation around and replace Trumps name with Obama as sitting president. W.ould  you hold the same views?

How did I misquote Senator Feinstein?  It is what she said.  The Representative Waters appearance on MSNBC was too priceless to pass up.

Presidents let people go all the time.  As far as Flynn being some kind of Russian mole, I don't see it, but of course some have the vision of ideology.  Besides, we survived 3+ years of Hillary as SOS, so we could have survived Flynn.

She didn't say that no one had evidence she said she did not have any.  And collusion is not necessarily the target here. Just defending our systems and institutions is enough for me.

So just ambiguously go after whatever random people arbitrary make up as a threat (as a cover for them losing an election because they ran a crappier campaign and presumed they had the election in the bag).. sound policy right there.

 

What's weird is you can't see through what a terrible argument you have with this Russia nonsense yet you're oblivious to the attempt to save face (that literally smacks one upside the head because it's so obvious) by blaming the Russians for everything. I gotta say, this style of marketing themselves sure won't help the Democrats come 2018 and '20.
