Anxious Nugget ROC Interview Experience (APPROVED)/ASC File Transfer Theory?

Hi guys!

I have written a more detailed recount of my interview experience here:

But overall, it was a painless and pleasant experience. The couple before us was taken for a Stokes. 😱

I know several have theorised about case load transfers between Service Centers. Unless she was incorrect (which I highly doubt because she had my case right there), she said it had been sent to her by VSC. I filed with CSC. That my GC could be up to 30 days because she was 'sending it back' to Vermont who would process and mail the card to me.

That's the first I've heard of my case being sent to VSC. I wonder if it got mixed up with all the file transfers and they just sent it to the field office because it was an error, then the field office decided to call me in, or what.

Its just GREAT news no more waiting for you. I also had good news yesterday. I don't know if you are aware but shortly before filing for ROC I went home and got my purse stolen. My bank card, driving licence, my credit cards and my GC. I had to go to the London embassy and pay hundreds for one letter, a transportation letter, not to mention train fares from Manchester to London.  Any way when I got back I had to file for ROC, So I couldn't replace my GC as that would cancel itself out. However, I went to the local field office for a stamp so I could travel, get a driving licence, job such.  They refused to stamp my passport without paying out for a stolen card which again would cancel itself out.   My husband wrote a letter of complaint and yesterday we received a letter to say to make an appointment and they would stamp my passport for no fee!   I am so relieved, I was so scared I wouldnt be able to go visit my family for at least a year and I wouldnt be able to get a driving licence or apply for a job.   It's such good news and we need this news as things aren't good at all right now with one thing and another!!   Let's hope the GREAT news continues!!! :)

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Thanks @Mollie09 i shall make a separate thread once i have the stamp to help others who find themselves in the same situation. I know there was a person only yesterday who lost their GC just before ROC, but I don't want to give advice to others until I get that stamp. I am afraid I won't believe it until i go and see them on the 25th. (only available appointment)
