I started my daughter's Adjustment of status on July 2016, few months later she got her travel authorization and permit to work, few months went by and we didn't hear anything until 2 weeks ago that we received a letter to go to Austin for the Biometrics. I am confused because she went in September for the biometrics, was that for the permit to work and travel and she had to go again.??

Anyway, she went yesterday for the bioetrics again, now what ? what is the next step? how long approximately ?

Thanks !

Sometimes the first round of biometrics weren't good enough so certain people get invited to a second biometrics appointment.

Besides that, there isn't much you can do besides wait. Most of the field offices in Texas looks like they're severely backlogged, but you should probably expect some movement on your case within the next 90 days if you filed in July of 2016.
