I am petitioner to my spouse visa case. We have paid required fees and  all required documentation(financial and supporting) for NVC review. One the document was missing which we have submitted again back in March. Now what i am trying to understand is NVC says that i will take 11 week to review. But after review, and if there is no issues, what letter i will be expecting. Is that going to be an approval letter or that will be Interview letter ?

Also is there a way we can check CR-1 case status with out calling 603 number for NVC ??

Hi.. I understand you have received a checklist. And your second scan date is in March 2017. Unfortunately if you are going through mail processing sending in a new document will reset your wait time to upto 11 weeks. But we have actually seen people from this forum report a 9-10 week timeline for their Case Complete.

So you should expect yours shortly. After yous case is complete, you will receive an email mentioning the same, post which your interview would be scheduled and then you will have your P4 letter.

Hi @chamma

Are you absolutely 100% positive a new document will reset the 11 week wait? (I got a checklist 😞)

Is there a thread on this subject?

Kind regards!

Hi, Yes that is the case. It would reset your timer to about 11 weeks as soon as NVC receives the new document.

You could follow these forums(if you haven't already)

Also you could follow instructions from @JBMG to access the spreadsheet (details below in blue) which contains details of the timelines what VJers have been experiencing. It contains applicant timelines with checklists as well. So it would be of help to you. Also please update your info, by making use of the questionnaire so that we can track the NVC pattern.Ignore, if you have updated.

Have you had a chance to look at the new spreadsheet? Open to all filers (mail, email, CEAC upload)

NVC Case Status Spread Sheet - February, March, April 2017 (save this link in your browser)

Please visit the following, this will update the spreadsheet with your info.

NVC Case Status Questionnaire - February, March, April 2017

VERY IMPORTANT: please keep your confirmation email to edit your status as your case moves along.. You CAN bookmark the questionnaire link but only after opening it up via email. I have no access to resend your original questionnaire to you. Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire
