Hi all, so my Father is in Manila right now for a 3 day sputum test collection but then there's a green note stapled on the white paper that says to bring his appointment letter. They didn't bring it with them. My sister only have a copy of the interview appointment letter which NVC emailed it to me. Would that be enough? Is that the correct paper? Otherwise they have to go back to the province and it's 8 hours one way through bus :(

Find a store where you will have access to a computer and printer and go to the CEAC website where it shows his status as READY, print that page (inquire as to the required number of copies needed for SLEC) and bring it to SLEC for the medical.  That should do it.

Hi, I went through sputum exam also. I just brought that kind of note with me. He needed to reschedule his interview appointment anyway. They are going to culture the sputum for two months, if the result is negative they will schedule him for immunization before he can reschedule his interview.

The copy of NVC appointment letter should work just fine.   And like said the current interview date will be cancelled.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

They are past the initial medical (and even for that the copy of the NVC letter they have is fine),  the person is going to start SPUTUM.

Yesterday was his 2nd day taking the sputum test and they still asked for the letter. His interview was way past it was on May 2. He's done with the initial medical process. Sputum Test are on a 3 day process. Hopefully the NVC email is enough then and not give a BS reason to ask for the original copy.

They don't even ask for the original during the initial medical, they only ask for copies.

Being your father is an immigrant visa the NVC letter should be all they need.
