There is no limit. But all immigrants he is sponsoring or co-sponsoring must be included in his household size. I have seen a post here from someone who was sponsoring 8 immigrants at once.

hi

only the amount of income limits the amount of people a person can sponsor or joint sponsor

the more you make, the more you can be a joint sponsor

Agree with above posts. Technically there is no limit as long as the sponsors/co-sponsors income permits.

Yes, he can sponsor both in one year or less ,However many times your income will allow, given that each one adds one more person to consider. As many times as you qualify for financially.

the joint sponsor, his wife plus the beneficiary, if they don't have any other dependents

this is the affidavit for your wife

but in the future, for him it will be 4 when he sponsors his wife

he will have to add your wife as part of his household size, so it will be 4

If this is hijacking I apologize and I'll open another thread... but how does this go with concurrent applications (i.e. I'm applying for my wife and 3 stepkids to come at once).  Will they put them all together and adjust the household size to 4?

The co-sponsor's wife is the beneficiary so the co-sponsor needs to have 125% income for 3 for when he sponsors his own wife if he already sponsored OP's wife (at which time it would have been 2)

There are fields on the i-864 where you fill in if you are sponsoring other immigrants too.

Your household size would be 5 not 4. You, your wife + three kids.
