Mainly due to their excruciating cover of "Love is all around" which was at number 1 for about 7 years. That and Marty whatisname was another one of those smug expressioned singers like Mick Hucknal that needed punching.

Too many to count, but # 1 is, of course, Pink Floyd.

I am also still a big Beatles fan and also loved Wings. I got to see Pink Floyd a few times and each time it was amazing, especially the Animals tour in Anaheim Stadium! Woo Woo!

Let's face it, half of my Floyd thing is a Gilmour thing. (Shallow, yes! That said, I still think their more non commercial stuff is best. 'Animals' is probably my favorite. Not Syd Barrett era, but still not as 'commercial' as DSOTM and Wish you Were Here.
