How can Trump use those phrases about anyone except himself? Trump must mean it as high praise.

Maybe he's promoting Comey to take over the next season of The Apprentice :jest:

That would be brutal and gold at the same time.

You should do your own research and find out. In another thread you made reference to deriving your political opinion from excerpts you gather from your wife's family and you mirror those opinions. That sounds like you're asking someone to tell you what to think, what opinions to form, and how to form them.

Check out all the media outlets. Read the articles and apply critical thinking to what you read.

You just said that most links given by VJ members are biased, and yet you are asking VJ members to tell you which news organizations to trust.

Use your own yardstick: put as much effort and endeavor in understanding American politics as you do to politics in your own country. Wouldn't that make sense?

I agree with IAMX, that it is good to get a view from all sides.  I enjoy perusing HuffPo, and Salon occasionally along with the NYTimes and WaPo, and then there are some purported to be on the Right such as WashTimes, WSJ, or Foxnews.  Sometimes, you get better and more unbiased US political reporting from those on your side of the pond such as the BBC, or Sky.

I can almost feel the slap from that reply :o

But it's an honest question, which news outlet is least partisan?  To be fair I never said I would trust your answers.

4Chan Pol?  Not one I have ever heard of.  As to the fresh air, I have a two year old Lab mix and we get out for a 3-4 mile run almost every day.

Absolutely not. It was not meant as a slap. It was an honest answer. I am giving you my perception and my interpretation.

It rarely does . Some here have anger issues. Most of us in the middle of the road,  have keenly developed sense of humor .

Only seven days after Donald J. Trump was sworn in as president, James B. Comey has told associates, the F.B.I. director was summoned to the White House for a one-on-one dinner with the new commander in chief.
The conversation that night in January, Mr. Comey now believes, was a harbinger of his downfall this week as head of the F.B.I., according to two people who have heard his account of the dinner.
As they ate, the president and Mr. Comey made small talk about the election and the crowd sizes at Mr. Trump’s rallies. The president then turned the conversation to whether Mr. Comey would pledge his loyalty to him.
Mr. Comey declined to make that pledge. Instead, Mr. Comey has recounted to others, he told Mr. Trump that he would always be honest with him, but that he was not “reliable” in the conventional political sense.
The White House says this account is not correct. And Mr. Trump, in an interview on Thursday with NBC, described a far different dinner conversation with Mr. Comey in which the director asked to have the meeting and the question of loyalty never came up. It was not clear whether he was talking about the same meal, but they are believed to have had only one dinner together.
By Mr. Comey’s account, his answer to Mr. Trump’s initial question apparently did not satisfy the president, the associates said. Later in the dinner, Mr. Trump again said to Mr. Comey that he needed his loyalty.
