Makes no sense whatsoever. The prior President took the trash out as well. This isn't news, except for those who have the (convenient) memory of a goldfish.

 

If there's an issue with Trump's connections pertaining to his Constitutional duties, Congress can easily lay down an investigation, and to my knowledge, I believe they already are. Doubt anything of use is going to come of it.

 

Comey was/is a professional who did his job, more than we are seeing out of the Whitehouse.

What is the Presidents agenda anyway? Save his skin?   I know what the Justice Department and FBIs is and it is not to be a political arm of the Whitehouse.  This has Bannon stench written all over it.

Its the Justice department duty to investigate the potential breach of the law, the white house counsel works for the President. The AG works for the people.

If Trump honestly thought Comey wasn't up to the job for what he has done for the past year he would have fired him months ago.

Sessions having a say in the firing just adds fuel to the fire because he recused himself and they now got rid of the lead guy who was investigating Russian ties.

They do, but who controls Congress? The President's party. Republicans have been stalling and stalling. Look at the whole Nunes debacle, he had to finally recuse himself.

For cause yes..

Now what is going to happen is that Trump is going to trigger a special counsel...he screwed his own pooch.  Once that happens the S.C. will be able to go anywhere and look anywhere. Remember Bill Clinton's impeachment for lying about getting a you know what?  That started because of a land deal.     Going to ladbrooks now to change my bet on Trump surviving 4 years.
