Greetings,

Thanks a lot.

There is no need for any registration (we were confused about it and asked the embassy before and they said no need). We just went to the embassy, stand in line then they gave us numbers inside.

We didn't pay for the GC at the embassy.

You are welcome

Thanks! :)

Hey,

Please don't be nervous at all. We arrived to the embassy at 12:00 but the appointment is at 12:30 and they don't let any one in until 12:30 so you have to wait outside and it's hot but they do have a fan.

So my advice is not to arrive more than 15 minutes before your appointment.

We were given a number and then we waited for a few minutes and our name was called to window 12, a nice guy talked to us and asked us for the original documents such as birth certificate and police clearance.

Then he asked a couple of quesstions and told us to set and that our name will be called.

it was called and we met with another guy where we did the finger prints and he asked maybe 2 or 3 questions,he didn't ask to see any photos or anything and he didn't ask about domicile.

It was clear I guess that we're a family cause we have two daughters.

Overall the staff are very nice, polite but be ready to spend 2 hours maybe more. We came at 12 and left at 3:15 PM.

As long as you have all your papers things will be smooth.

Update: Today my visa was issued :D after 9 days. if you have any question please dont' hesitate to ask me, btw they do speak english and arabic but i feel easier speaking English

OH okay. Thank you so much for your input. Its really very helpful. Our appointment time is also 1230 and we were planning on getting there by noon. Good thing you told me about the long wait so now we will be going  a bit late. And they only asked you for the original documents not any copies? Also, congrats on getting the visa!! I hope our interview also goes as smoothly as yours :)

Plan to be there by 12:15. They already had copies of everything so they asked for the originals and later they give it back to us.

Greetings,

Yes I was making a mistake in the number (3 I thought it was 5) from the paper they gave me, when i checked from the visa itself i found out my super silly mistake :D

I paid using credit card, you can also pay using an online bank (US one).

It was super easy.
