I130 May 2017 filers

Anybody use the envelope that was enclosed with their rfe letter? I mightve lost mind. Im thinking of sending it with a regular envelope. Is that gonna be a problem? Thank you.

Hi everyone, please we need some help to understand our application progress.

My usc husband filed a I130 immediate relative for my daughter (his minor step child) in may 2017 (priority date May 8th, 2017), with Texas Center. We called today and spoke to an immigration agent to know why it's taking long. The agent told us our application is under investigation.

What that means? She was already mentioned in my own application when I was adjusting my status to become a permanent resident. All the information were similar and already in my files. 

How long did you experience the wait for that if there is any similar case. 

Thank you for your help. We just hope it's not going to take forever.

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question but you did sign and date the application itself right? if so what date and in what order did you date it?

i learned something today that might be interesting to u all. i called nvc today regarding my case # and he mentioned that I wont have to mail the aos and iv package to them anymore. all of my stuff will be done online like making payments or uploading docs. nvc also wont have to mail the embassy anything since they'll have access online. so basically he said this will make the nvc process go faster. i told him i havent heard of such thing and he said as of now around 16 embassies are participating in this program including tokyo, rio de janeiro and my embassy Islamabad. 

 

edit: he also said i wont have to fill out the agent form since this online takes care of it. and if they need anything or have a message, that will be also online.

I send the i130 the i485 and the i765. My spous and me sign it. Not the i130A. Should i add the i130A

okay so your spouse is already with you I am sorry just a little confused.

 

I do not believe you need I-130A if your spouse is already in USA with you.

Yes. We both is living in usa. And she apply t he i130 for me.

you filled out all the correct forms, and you are certain, the correct fees, and forms were signed and dated in the correct spot, I am sorry I dont know either.
