Hi I hadn't seen this topic yet so I thought I'd start it myself. My husband and I were married on march 10th and filed the I130 on May 1st. Still waiting on NOA1! I found this type of thread very helpful and supportive when we applied for a K1 visa last year but it was denied and we have started the process again. Let's help each other through the wait time :)

Me too. NOA1: 05/19/2017

Looks like they're still on November for NSC. 2 months down, 6 more to go. Been living in Israel for the past year to be with my spouse, but alas I am glad to be leaving. And now it looks like everything is heating up in the region. It took me months to be able to go to crowded public places without being quietly terrified. In February I went to a street party and someone set off a firecracker, almost causing a stampede. Can't wait for us to settle in America. Any recommendations on where we should live in the USA (if all goes well)?

I personally love my quiet state, down side, you have to drive to get anywhere but its quiet.

so depending on where your preference is large city small city, any state is fine but stay out of Tornado Alley.

Yes best of luck to you I know waiting for approval of i130 is the longest and i see that nvc is still 9 to 11 weeks but thsts nothing compaired to the long wait at Nebraska, if you would like to talk more we can private chat or text.

NOA1 is the priority date on your Notice Letter that was mailed to you few days after your Petition was received by USCIS while the NOA2 is the Notice Letter for your approval(2nd letter you will receive in the mail from USCIS)telling you that your petition have been approved&Will be forwarded to the NVC for further processing.

I hope this helps. Happy Waiting to us.

Looking at the may folks who filed for the i130. Do we have like an estimated time the general process will be complete?

Yea.. 8-14months depends on the Service centre processing your petition, avoid RFEs both are the USCIS&NVC stages&how quick your response to payments&documents demanded from you by the NVC. Meanwhile try to update your Immigration Timeline
