Thanks Khallaf. Actually I am the one in India. I already have B1/B2 visa. And have travelled US to meet her last month also. Since this is past 200 days we tried to make a case query in USCIS website under the tab of Case outside normal processing time. But the case was not even submitted because I get a notification saying that my case is within their time tables . Which was a bit weird because I thought we could enquire after 180 days past filing date

Sorry guess I am confused....the I-130 is for who? Nebraska is taking 9-12 months to complete these forms and since that is the normal they will not accept case inquiry unless its outside of the Nebraska timeline...we are all a little unhappy and sick about it...and everytine we call we just get the same story.

May 30 PD

TSC

US citizen filing for my spouse.

Put in a service request because the case was outside normal processing times. Received this reply from uscis:

“The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.”

Does this mean I have to wait 2 months more? While TSC is now past May 30 and moving into June? Should I call and speak to tier 2 officer? I can’t take that 60 day wait.

I feel your frustration, but there are a lot of us that are sitting in Nebraska, who have cases taking 9 months to a year to complete, so trust me we all feel your pain, and for most there cases are still being worked from Feb, and March of this year, they haven't even made it into May, I do know it is frustrating but hang in there.

Hi guys

I 130 filed by my US spouse

Priority date is May 22 2017

Form I-797C received on May 23 2017.

No word after that. It was gone to Nebraska center. So frustrated with this wait :-(  Any idea when I will get to hear from them again ?

I understand now, I guess I shouldn't be reading these things at near 2 am. So your wife filed for you, she is in the USA and you are in India, she also filed I-129F for the K3 visa so that you can come stay here while the papers are processing if I am understanding that now correct. might want to check with you B1/B2 visa if it gets revoked once the application is approved and sent onto the NVC for further processing. if your wife doesn't already have it there is an app to get for the smart phone that will allow her to check the status. right now there are some cases in March being approved as well as cases in April getting RFE letters. I know what she is going through my husband is overseas, if she needs someone to vent to, let her know I am here to listen and talk.

Take a deep breath in, your going to be okay, I am sure they will get to you sooner. I would gladly trade you places and give you Nebraska service center.

I didn't answer you because I can't, based on others I have seen it has only taken a week to get completed, but it could take them up to 60 days to finish it, it is really up to the case officer, I am sorry I was told on 12/7 that my case was with an officer and under review, however the next time I called in I got something different. I can only support your frustration and let you know I understand how it can be.

I know it's frustrating seeing dates passed yours getting approved. My case took 204 days at TSC. People with PDs a month after mine were getting approved. There's no rhyme or reason to how they do things. I think you'll get the same answer if you talk to a tier 2. They explained that they had to do an additional review (possibly a more extensive background check, not sure) & that's why it's delayed. They usually cover themselves by saying 60 days but it will most likely be less. I know it's hard, but you're almost through this part of the process...the toughest part!
