So I called uscic today and ask for a tier officer and told him my case was over a 190 days ,

They said that an officer is reviewing my case but he didn't say when to expect anything ,he then tried to play off the entire thing saying that they are now processing files for February 13 which I know is a lie,

When an officer has your case how long before u hear from someone anybody knows

June 2 pd

Texas

I called and was told my case was with an officer and also being reviewed, however I am in Nebraska with a PD date of 5/8 for all I know the words being with an officer and under review have been there since it got to Nebraska.

So I called USCIS today again and was able to talk to a tier 2 officer. This officer put me on hold a few times to find out why I haven't heard a decision yet since it's been more than 210 days now. She then started to give me a reference number (WKD341*******TSC) and she was telling me that I should call back again with this reference number if I don't hear anything by the 14th of Dec. Before she could tell me what this referencce is for and what she did, the call got disconnected...

I wasnt able to talk to a tier 2 officer again..

Can someone please tell me what this means?

Basically, she placed a service request since your case is outside normal processing time. She asked u to call again cause USCIS has 5 business days to address service requests. So a tier 2 officer will look at the service request and contact you via phone.

I called them today too asked to speak to a tier 2 officer .They transferred me and then a recording told me they were busy with other customers but i could choose the call back system and i won't loose my place in line .So i chose for them to call back the auto system told me 36 mins .So i got a call back and i can definitely tell that was not a tier 2 officer because he barely could provide any information other than I when they recieved the petition and what the website currently says.pissed me off they told me I need to call back in 2-3 months my service center which is TSC is processing February 2017 applications .So i told him how it that possible when i am on vj and there are people who are may filers and got approvals ..I also asked him you mean to tell me from September to now you guys are still working on February cases.he then began to tell me i shouldn't use any website other than theirs ..however he was very nasty and rude and had the nerve to have an attitude an hang up..just don't understand how is that possible when people on here are at the same service center as myself and have the same filing month which is May and have approvals ..Happy for everyone who got approvals don't get me wrong but it's been 191 days now for me .I would like to know something its frustrating being away from your loved one.

Just be patient dear, it all depends on the adjudicator who is handling our petitions, and also, cases differs, mine has been 203days now TSC and no approval yet, but I know by the grace of God we will all get our approval soon.

Can anyone submit a service request if it's been over 180 days, regardless of what date their website states they are processing?

So I seem to be in a pickle :(
I called USCIS a few days ago and was able to talk to talk to a supervisor. The supervisor told me that my case was review and it says there is an RFE on the case since the 16th of Nov.; however, it does not show that the RFE was mailed out! He insisted that he cannot do much about it! Then I called yesterday again and talked to another supervisor who told me the same status; but she said that she will send a request to the officer reviewing the case asking why an RFE was not mailed out! Has anyone faced something similar to this? what do you think I should do? :(

Hi all, I'm new to visa journey, just wondering if anyone has updates on where the Nebraska center is in their processing? Our I-130 was received on May 8, 2017. Based on the processing times on the icsis site, I'm guessing they are possibly to March applications but the notifications from my app show a case similar to mine with the same country (Dominican republic) was approved at the Nebraska center with an application date of May 22. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hi everyone..who knows is it problem that we martied after 3 month my husband devorce..the marridge took place in Kyrgyzstan  but my husband is from Sacramento California....cause i read about waiting period after devorce is 6 month.??who knows may be that is why we still didnt get approved.???

There is a minimum statutory six-month waiting period before you can remarry in the state of California.

Neither spouse may remarry until BOTH:

1. The six month waiting period has passed

AND

2. The court enters a decree of dissolution restoring the non-married status of both parties involved

Be advised that nothing will automatically happen six months after you file for divorce.

In order to re-marry, file taxes as a single person, or simply be single, you need to agree to the terms or your divorce, complete a divorce trial (extremely unlikely), or request an early divorce, known as a Bifurcation of Marital Status.

If a dissolution action is resolved and a settlement is entered with the court prior to end of the six month time frame, a judgment of dissolution can be immediately obtained. Keep in mind the six month waiting period starts on the day the respondent is served documents (or appears in court), not the day the petition is filed.

To acquire the judgment of dissolution, you must go through a trial or settlement, as nothing goes into effect automatically after six months.

If you and your spouse have not settled on your divorce even after the six months, you may work with an attorney to obtain a “Bifurcation of Status.” The court may grant a bifurcation subject to certain conditions.

This is where the court grants your divorce so you can remarry or file taxes as a single person. However, other issues such as the division of property, custody, and support are still under the court’s jurisdiction.

I got this from Google, so practically if your husband have concluded all the divorce procces he is free to remarry any time, 6 months waiting time is when the whole procces has not been concluded.

So don't worry its not a problem if the first marriage has been legally terminated.

Your approval is on the way :)

Finally got my approval 12/04/17. Literally one week after after I filed a service request by a tier 2 officer, I received a note that my case was assigned to an adjudicator. One week after that approval. Stay strong.
