Hi guys..

so these past couple of days I hounded the husband to call uscis..

he finally did today!! He asked to speak to a tier 2 and they told him he'll get a call back in 120mins. A male officer called back in 45mins, asked for our receipt number, petitioner's and beneficiaries' names and dates of birth.

afterwards he congratulated him and told him we were approved on 1 Dec and a mail was sent out to us yesterday 4 Dec.. so we're expecting the mail in the mailbox any moment!!

I'm so excited because I was actually expecting an rfe since we didn't send in birth certificates..

PD- May 23

Noa1- May 30.

Approval- Dec 1.

TSC.

please someone send me the dec nvc link..  I can't breathe!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

So I called USCIS today and talked to a Tier 2 officer. He told me that my case has not yet been assigned to an officer but is getting ready to go to an officer. He said to call back after 2-3 weeks if I don't hear anything by then.

Does anyone know how long it really takes once the case has been assigned to an officer?

Thanks

From what I have seen including my own case, once a case is assigned to an officer, it takes a week to 10 days to get a decision from the date it was assigned. Good luck.

It is indeed a process that drains pretty much everyone emotionally. Just hang tight there and soon you will hear good news. Keep the faith.

Guys, I do Have some awesomest news!! NOA2 approval came in the mail, no email or sms application and case status on uscis didn't change yet. My visa application is IR2 for child visa. Sent the petition 18th April 2017. RFE came in 28th Sept and we replied on 24th Nov since we needed to do DNA and send some bone fide proof. Our approval notice is dated 30th November. I cannot believe it took them 2days only to approve since the status on website changed to case review on 28th November!  Wohooo!!!  Such a great feeling. Those still waiting.. Your time is coming!!! 💃💃💃💃💃

Thanks hopefully I miss my husband so much it makes me so sad at times.I try to keep the faith but there are days where it gets ruff. Traveling back and forth to Jamaica is so costly and it's so painful when I have to leave .I always end up cancelling my flight to stay extra days .Then end up having to leave regardless hubby hates seeing me cry it's just an horrible feeling and situation to go through.
