Yeah, you just call the USCIS number and I called like 3 or 4 times until they let me talk to a tier 2 officer. You just have to ask them. Some agents transfer you and some just dont so you should just keep trying.

Yesterday my wife called them same rhing she told her

So I finally got to talk to a Tier 2 officer after 2 hour wait but they literally just told me the same information that a Tier 1 officer told me. They said that Texas Service center is currently working on Feb 2 cases so wait another 60-90 days to hear back for your case since PD is May 8th.

This is so disappointing. How can I talk to someone who can tell me more accurate time?

They told us the same

Photos are more important for those filing for the fiancé visa. It’s irrelevant until the interview. I think they are more concerned with more bonafide proof of marriage rather than photos....

Photos is a type of bonoafide proof of marriage. Adjudicators are different.

For my husband? I guess he did photocopied them front and back. I remember telling him to have all his passport pages photocopied too, as it was in the checklist. For my birth certificate, I don't think have them front and back.  But marriage certificates are all good, I hope.

Just wait for the RFE in the mail.. You wouldn't know what they are requesting from you until you have gone through the letter.

Meanwhile, try to get the documents you know/feel you didn't submit with your initial petition like your wedding photos etc before the letter arrives so as to speed up your response.

Not true.. i had a RFE for proof of legal termination of previous marriages of my husband that the one we submitted wasn't carrying the judge's signature meanwhile I used same document when my husband filed my previous I- 129F petition(fiance)&was approved without a RFE for it. Someone here got rfe for missing pages of 10&12 of their I-130petition while another member here didn't get a RFE for same issue.

We have to show them conversations? My husband and I communicate through Imessage and phone calls, he cant take his phone in so how are we going to be able to show them the conversations? He has all the pictures from every trip on his laptop so he will have to go get them printed out to?

He should screenshot them and print them out for his visa interview.

I definitely agree with you. We wouldn't know for sure what they need until we receive our RFE letter. In addition, we'll send some photos of our wedding with my family and friends, and our vacation trip to Mexico with his family to show them that our marriage is supported by his family too.  I just really hope they send the letter as soon as possible so that we can respond right away coz this waiting is very frustrating, it's really depressing to be away from your loved ones.  I'm very grateful for you guys for giving opinions and comments and suggestions regarding our situations.  Praying for us all. :)

I guess he has to take screenshots and have them printed. My husband and I uses WhatsApp messenger and it has a capability to send conversations thru email. I send our conversations monthly to my email and download them and had them printed. Right now, we have 1000 pages printed, I am getting ready since July so I won't be rushed when it's time to go to the interview in the embassy.  I have screenshots of our phone calls and conversations in Facebook and are ready for printing soon.  For our wedding photos and our vacation photos, I have them in photobook layout and printed for our souvenir anyway :)

I did all these because I read some reviews here in VJ written by those who are done with their visa application and are now in the US. One was saying that she was not given the visa approval unless they have their printed conversation and sent to the embassy.  It really helps to check their reviews.

Goodluck to us all. :)

You have 1000 pages of conversations to take to the consulate?

Yes, so far. I will print my conversation with my mother-in-law too. Plus I will bring our wedding and vacation photos, also our video call photos and screenshots. My friend told me bring all printed conversation til the date of the interview. Most importantly, bring all original or certified copies of civil documents. I know it's a lot but I want to be sure that I will get approved and be together soon.

Ok. Obviously its entirely up to you but I try to put myself in the officers shoes. If someone walked into my office for the interview pushing a wheelbarrow full of papers I think it would actually annoy me. Its one thing to be 'prepared' but quite another to overload. I believe the IO has limited time to go through the paperwork and will primarily be more concerned with the civil documents. Thats not to say you dont need proof of communication & relationship, but I would imagine a few pages of 'well chosen' texts/calls/photos over a range of time would be more doable than 5 phone books of conversation.

I completely understand backing yourself up to ensure you get approved, but don't overwhelm yourself (or the IO) with too much information when the straight facts is really all that is needed. I'm sure you have everything you need for an approval already.

Just my take on it anyway B-) Best of luck.

I agree. I also thought it's ridiculous that they will review all the conversation printed but I read one of the embassy review here in VJ saying that the wife's visa was in pending unless they submit their updated conversation even though the US citizen husband was also present during the interview. So, they had them all printed and sent to the embassy, then they got their visa. 😬 I got an advise from a friend being petitioned by her husband and she did the same thing, coz she didn't want to take chances. Maybe it depends on the US embassy consul, same as it depends on the adjudicator in the immigration.

Best of luck to you, too 😊

I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♀️. I just did what Rapidvisa suggested. And people I know personally. I got approved with no pictures. But then again my husband and I have more proof such as notarized documents, insurance together, and both our names are on our property he owns in his country. So every case is different. We had so many things to prove our marriage, we didn’t bother with the photos. But as I said earlier, we will bring to the interview. No matter what documents we had, we stayed heavy in prayer. With God ALL things are possible. But we’re praying for the best for everyone!

I decided to include photos, hotel stubs, show tickets, game tickets as a way to make up for a lack of some of the financial things like insurance.  There are somethings that I just cant do for her right now like health insurance since most of it is not accepted in Mexico anyways.  Also didn't put her on my car insurance because she has no license to drive plus as a Mexican she is not allowed to drive my car in Mexico or else they will consider it importation and take it away from her.  Once she gets here we will do more mingling of finances.  I was only able to put her on credit cards, phone bill and sams club card.  Plus show our rental contract, light bill and water.
