My wife signed her's when we were together in Morocco then I brought it home with me...so I am not sure if that might be the reason but I am definitely interested to know.

Congratulations in advance and update it :)

So how then did you know the signed I-130A is not the cause for the RFE?

It is a speculation. Instructions says the spouse needs to sign if she has the form present with her and then you can send it. If spouse overseas and cant sign it, then it is ok. So I am not sure if the form was signed by you while u r overseas would trigger an RFE...you know what I mean?

I stand corrected though. Recent RFE's requested the I-130A but did not see one for signing the 130A if it was done by the foreigner beneficiary...I stand corrected though!

I got the actual rfe today and all it wanted was page 10 and 11 of the i130 I hadn’t submitted Those pages because I didn’t use an interpreter or a preparer.  so I just put not applicable on the forms and am sending it back today!!

You left pages 10 and 11 blank or you didn't submit them at all?

So if I am understanding this correctly, if my beneficiary (wife) signed the 1-130A while I was with her in India, brought it back with me, and I filed for her in the US, this may cause an RFE? Or that it would cause an RFE if had signed the 1-130A myself as the petitioner?

My wife signed her own 1-130A while I was with her, brought the form back with me and then I filed for her after I came back to the states...so just wondering if this may lead to an RFE.

Im confused now but i will wait until my husband receives the RFE in his mail box before I can really know what USCIS is requesting

This is what I did as well. My spouse signed her I-130A when I was with her in Morocco and brought it back with me to the US. Instructions says that the beneficiary should sign it if possible, otherwise it is ok if it is sent not signed. But if the petitioner was the on e who signed it, would that trigger an RFE? I have no idea. Will just have to wait for that RFE and see.
