Hello Everyone,

I need little help, i am green card holder. i got married in Feb 2017 and i filled i130(new version) for my wife in May 2017.

My service center is California, i got the receipt number and priority date(Mid of May) in 1st notice.

Can anyone please help me out how to calculate the total time which service center and NVC will take to process the case, i can see on service center processing page my category is stuck on Permanent resident filling for a spouse or child under 21  "August 23, 2016".

Moreover how it can relate to VISA bulletin. there are two things there

1-> FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED     PREFERENCE CASES which is 22OCT15 ( what is that, can anyone explain me please)

2 -> DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED     VISA APPLICATIONS which is 01NOV16( what is that, can anyone explain me please)

is there a way by which i can calculate and estimate that when my wife can get a immigration visa from all these number?

My husband called again today and they're still telling him that they're still processing December filers.. but that's not what it says on the website

Don't believe what they tell you.... I thought they would have gotten to May as last this week... But centers like Potomac and texas are in April...  the most recent I have seen approved is April 14th.

Hi... don't follow this bulletin or processing time they have not been updated.... well for May we hope to get the uscis approval before October ends.... how ever here is a smart thing to do... start getting the nvc requirements ready so when they ask for it you don't have to start running around for it. E.g. 2016 tax .... And other nvc related documents... But after the uscis other folks who have gone through the process say it is about 2 months that's if you don't get a ref before it gets to The embassy

Hello all, I got married in January, and Filed in May got my priority date, May 25th. I called a tier two officer today, and tried to inquire where patomic really was in their processing (its been January 1st as of May 31st for 2 months on the uscis website) and was received rather rudely. Anyway it was completely unproductive. So I'm hoping we all hear something in October, it would be a good birthday present for me! Any way Does anyone know how long the rest of the process will take after we receive the NOA2 for US citizens filing for immediate relatives? Just a couple more months correct?

Once again don't follow any of those information about when it will be done.... And you are welcome.... with nvc, looking at the people who had their interview since last year till date... the nvc is about 2 months to 3.... the longest of the process is with the uscis. Which is about 5 months to 6... hopefully my December you should have an interview date..
