Hello everyone!! Im new to this. My i130 was recieved on may 3 and sent to Potomac service center for processing. I called Uscis and the lady told me that all my documents look good and that i will be receiving an answer in September. I would like to know if anybody is in the same boat as me?

I just hope everything goes well for all of us and that this waiting come to an end soon. Once our cases are approved we will feel happier because we'll be one step forward and the wait won't be too long.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I was curious why our petition was forwarded to Nebraska when my husband is from Florida. I'm unsure but I thought Florida is within the jurisdiction of Texas Service Center. Anyone knows how this works?

Processing status says that our case will be adjudicated between January 10, 2018 and January 18, 2018.  Is it possible to request for a transfer to another service center?

The lengthy separation with my husband gives me undue stress :( :( still I'm keeping my hopes up.

Unfortunately alot of cases have been routed to Nebraska since Nebraska is the main Hub. I feel you when it comes to waiting times mine will be middle of January early February. I got Nebraska since I live in Oregon. I don't know if you can request a transfer or not I don't know much about that, but Maybe your will.

Priority date 05/19/2017

Having the same problem! My husband lives in Florida and we got our case sent to Nebraska... I'm so upset. We called them yesterday and asked why we didn't get sent to the right jurisdiction... he didn't have an answer to that but said we can send a petition letter asking to be moved to the right jurisdiction and they may or not transfer us. Been looking like crazy for someone that did this so I can proceed and do that too... I don't want to wait until 2018 for a NOA2 lol

My residence is actually in Texas and I got sent to Nebraska. In their guidelines they said you are distributed randomly. Maybe they are sending fewer cases to Nebraska so the backlog will eventually level out.
