Hoping I can find some answers here. My fiancé and I recently got engaged while he's here in the U.S. visiting. It wasn't intentional, we fell in love and he proposed. Here we are a month later, he's still here but scheduled to leave in a little over a week. We found out today that I (an U.S. citizen) am pregnant. We were already planning to file the petition for a fiancé visa but we wanted to find out if there's anything we can do so he can come back sooner and not miss the birth of our child since the petition could take up to 8 months or longer. If anyone has any info they can share it'd be greatly appreciated.

I agree, you can marry and he doesn't have to leave at all.  Otherwise the K1 is the quickest visa route if he cannot stay and adjust right now.

Can he not come back on the VWP for the birth?

Definitely an option as well Boiler IMO.  I seem to remember though that most women like to have the father with them every step of the way.
