adjusting status

Hi, I am in the process of filling out my adjustment of status forms and have some questions, do we need the I-130 form filled out, since when I was applying for my K1, my then fiance petitioned me to the USA?

Also, a big question is, since my daughter migrated here with me under my k1 visa, do I need extra forms for her? She is 11years old. My husband is american.

Any information would be so very helpful.

You have to adjust status for yourself and your daughter. For every form that you fill out for your AOS, you also need to do one for your daughter (except the G325a, that's for children and adults 14 and over).

When you've completed the forms you can send them off together (I recommend this) but put them in separate folders.

You dont need to fill out an I-130 since you came her on a K-1 visa.

You also won't need a finger print fee as your daughter is under 14. Reading the guides really is the best thing you can do. I applied for mine a month ago and followed the guides with no problems.

Thanks, I found the FAQ's very helpful too, it may sound careless of me but I couldnt find anything like that on my own search. I want to be sure to do it all right and am reading all the guides, they are helpful.
