My wife is the principle immigrant, I am the Petitioner, US Citizen. Her two children are listed as immigrating at the same time or within six months. Both the I-130 and the I-864 has my wife listed as the principle immigrant, and then her two children listed on the same form. Does a Petition filing fee need to be paid for each one, $535.00 for my wife, and $535.00 for her son, and then $535.00  for her daughter? Then a medical exam fee needs to be paid for each one, as well as an interview fee paid for each one, is that correct? If we hand carry the exact amount, will they accept cash? Thank you!

You need separate petitions for the kids to begin with.

You need a separate petition for each immigrant you are petitioning for. Each petition has its own fees.

Each immigrant needs their own medical (with their own fees).

Each immigrant needs to submit their own visa application (with their own fee).

Cash is normally not accepted for the petition fee, but it may be different for DCF.

A separarte $535 fee is needed for each of them since each needs their own separate I-130.  Derivative beneficiaries are not allowed when a USC petitions a spouse.  Everyone must be petitioned separately.

If the beneficiary qualifies under Items 1.C., 1.D., or 1.E. above, you are not required to file separate petitions for the beneficiary’s spouse or unmarried children under 21 years of age.  They are considered derivative beneficiaries and you should list them in Part 4. of this petition.

Part 4 says, "Provide information about the beneficiary's spouse and children."

The I-130 is geared more to the Petitioner and the Beneficiary. The I-864 is somewhat the same in the information requested on the forms. The minor children are only to be listed on the forms, but the questions are not geared to them/for them. What I will do, is I will have a copy of the I-130 and a copy of the I-864 for each of them, that they will take to their own interview/ visa application. But their information doesn't go on those forms except only a listing of their names and birth dates. I will also prepare the $535.00 for each of them for the Petitions, and the money for the St. Lukes Medical Extension Center examination for each of them, about 8000 PHP for the two kids under 15 years of age, and the 16042.50 PHP for my wife. I am a little confused about some of it, but I am still reading and trying to figure it all out. I think we are going to fly to Manila with all the Petition Information and documents, and present them there so we can make sure everything is done correctly, hopefully, and I think we will also take the I-864 and documents/requirements to show them, even though they are not due at that time, then we can find out if we are doing it correctly, and if something needs to be corrected, hopefully there will be time to make those corrections while the Petition is being approved. We will have a difficult time, but not impossible, saving the Visa Processing Fees from my social security. We have just started this month by opening a joint peso account with BPI, and we will save money there for the medical exams. The joint peso account will also help to establish that we have a bonifide marriage, among other things, like marriage certificate, pictures, bills that we have paid for our living expenses here, and there are lots of requirements and documents necessary, but we will get it all done. We needed to wait until we got some debts here paid. We paid off our sofa set and our gas cooking oven, and next month we will pay off the tv debt. We bought the rice land back, so that our families can have rice to eat while we are gone living in the USA. We have a little more work that we need to do on the house, and we have money for that. It is just a matter of our carpenters being available to work for us. We will continue saving in the PHP, BPI, and we will start saving some dollars also for the Fees, and for our trip to America. I will open a Wells Fargo Bank Account in the USA, calling to do that because I only have my passport for an I.D. because I was past 70 years old the Driver's Licensing office would not renew my Driver's License for me Online. After we move to the USA I need to go to one of their offices to renew my License. We would like to move to the USA right away soon, but it will take us a little time to gather our funds to make it all happen. I will be getting another credit card soon also which will help. So we need to get the forms filled out, gather the documents/requirements, and save the money. My sister is working on the I-864 fairly early because of the time it takes to get documents shipped from the USA to us here in the Philippines. That is what is happening here, planning, filling out forms, saving money, and wishing we had all the money we need, but we will save it. We are going to bring the kids with us to the USA and that will require more money, but we want to have them with us and keep them safe. I have filled out the I-130. I have filled out the G-325a, and now I learned from someone here on visajourney that we don't need that form filled out as immigration is not requiring that anymore. I have filled out my I-864, and I have sent a form I-864 to my sister's daughter in law, and she will print it and see that my sister gets that form. I filled out on the form just my wife's and her two kids names and birth dates to help her a little, and then she will need to fill out the rest and ship those forms completed to us, three of them for my wife and her two children and also three of her IRS Returns and the W-2s to go along with the I-864s, and I have lots of proofs for the Domicile/Intent to re establish Domicile. It will just be a matter of gathering it. My sister will write a letter, date and sign it stating that she invited us to come stay with her, and also she is going to have me maintain her huge lawn/yard. I own houses, and I can prove I have gotten mail at my address in the USA for the past four years, and also that I have paid property taxes on the houses during that period of time, so if we had the money ready, then it would not take very long to gather the evidence/documents/proofs, and we will make it okay. I am just worried a little about what I may not know, like the fact that the G-325s are no longer required.

There are no derivatives for immediate relative petitions...only preference petitions. OP's case is an immediate relative (spouse and children).

It is confusing, and I don't know where derivatives fit in. If the Petitioners Spouses' Children are not derivatives, who are the derivatives? Each will be a separate Petition with the $535.00 and the documents/requirements/proofs. The I-130 is information about the Petitioner, and information about the Beneficiary, and only a listing of the names of the children and their ages, and I think I just include a copy of that for each of the two children? It is kind of the same with the I-864 except the Beneficiary is termed at the Principle Immigrant, or Sponsored Immigrant, and the children are listed as Family Members with the question what is the relationship to the Sponsored Immigrant? I am understanding it a little better all the time, but it is confusing to me? I just want us to get it correct so that we will be approved.

You can see where derivatives come into play here:

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/family-preference.html

Anything under the Immediate Relative section (IR-1 to IR-5) don't have derivatives listed. The family preference categories do (F1-F4).

For each I-130, just fill in the fields as they pertain to the individual you are petitioning for.

For the I-864, you would be the sponsor and the individual would be the principle immigrant. Each intending immigrant will need their own I-864. You won't need to list anybody else in Part 3 since they have their own visa petitions and I-864s. See here for reference to try to help clear it up:

I read that the medical examination at St. Luke's Extension Center is half price for children under 15 years old. Is that still true? I think the other fees are full price, like $535.00 for the Petition, and $325.00 for the Visa Application/Interview. Is that correct? Thank You!

That's only if the I-864 is processed by NVC, right? OP is doing DCF (assuming this is posted in the right forum) so the I-864 should be processed abroad.

Yes, we are doing the DCF. We have lived here since 06/03/2014, My wife was born here, and I have been here since then, and am a permanent resident of the Philippine Islands, so we qualify, and DCF is the best for us, the fastest moving; supposed to be anyway.
