My sister has agreed to be the co sponsor for my wife, a Philippine Citizen, her son, also a Philippine Citizen, and her daughter, a Philippine Citizen as well. My sister is alone. She said that she wants me to fill out the paper work and send that to her. For the required income she would need to cover three people and herself, and so how much income does she need to qualify? If she does not have enough income to qualify can she combine income and assets, or does it need to be one or the other? Does she need to furnish an IRS Return and W-2s for each one. In other words does she need to furnish three IRS Returns and W-2s? Do I need to complete an Affidavit of Support, I-864 for each of them, my wife, and her two children?  Do I download this form, fill it out for each one, and then mail them to my sister for her to complete, sign, and return to me? I am confused about exactly how I should go about that. I need to do it correctly because the Visa Processing fees are so expensive, and after spending all that money I need to have the Visas approved. Thank you so much for any help you can give me on this.

She said that she wants me to fill out the paper work and send that to her. For the required income she would need to cover three people and herself, YES,  for example of income guidelines go to : https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p  and so how much income does she need to qualify? (It depends on you and any income or assets. Example If you have $20,000 annual income as in a retirement for example You can offset her requirement with any income you have... hence joint sponsorship)  If she does not have enough income to qualify can she combine income and assets, or does it need to be one or the other? (YES/// IF you are doing IR1, its times 3 the difference, IF CR1 its times 5 any difference in your annual income) Does she need to furnish an IRS Return and W-2s for each one. In other words does she need to furnish three IRS Returns and W-2s? (Yes, just IRS Returns, You can fill out the I-864 for her, she will need to sign, and you will need her Original signature, when submitting)  Do I need to complete an Affidavit of Support, I-864 for each of them, my wife, and her two children? YES Do I download this form, fill it out for each one, and then mail them to my sister for her to complete, sign, and return to me? (You are best to fill these out) I am confused about exactly how I should go about that. I need to do it correctly because the Visa Processing fees are so expensive, and after spending all that money I need to have the Visas approved. Thank you so much for any help you can give me on this. (Best advice is to complete 1 form at a time... and one for each of them... Print a personal copy to look over and over again so your absolutely sure its all correct and Save them as PDF's for emailing when you have everything together for her to sign. Use FB Messenger to have her pass info to you, so your the one doing the paperwork. Another bit of  Advice: check form dates (some are obsolete yet still online, example: ,,, as I-864 is newer Feb 2017 form now... also you will need I-864A instead of the G-325A completed for wife only and G-325A's for the kids).. Don't let this worry you.. start with the I-130 for each of them ... and work it from there. God Bless and Regards...
