K-1 From high fraud country but interview in Kuwait

My fiance is an Egyptian male and has been working/living in Kuwait for the past 11 years, so his K-1 interview will be in Kuwait.

I know that Egypt is a high fraud country, but Kuwait is not so much high fraud.  Do you think that the interview being in Kuwait is a positive thing even though he comes from a high fraud country?

The only thing I'm more concerned about is that I will probably only be able to visit him once, and then again the week of the interview, so he will have extra proof of our relationship for him to bring to the interview. I realize that visiting more than once is best, but if it's not possible, I hope it's not a negative for us.

Any input or similar experience is appreciated!

Thanks :)

I'm planning my first trip next month in June, we've known each other and have been talking everyday for 6 months.

We are both Muslim, so different religions isn't an issue.

Be careful!  Make sure you take lots of pictures and save your boarding passes, along with any receipts you have while being together.   It will help when putting evidence together for the petition!

Thanks, I understand all about front loading and keeping all proof of visits/relationship, but why do you say be careful?  Because I will only have 1 visit aside from the week of the interview?  Or what...

I'm actually looking for input if the interview from Kuwait will be a good thing even though he's from Egypt and the fact that he's lived and worked in Kuwait for 11 years.

Just saying be careful because you're traveling!

He's a legal resident in Kuwait, correct?  If not, he won't be able to interview there.

I don't think anyone can definitively tell you that it will be favorable or whether it will have an effect at all.

Either way, he's still from a high fraud country (my fiance is too!)- that will always weigh in a bit.

Just make sure you've got what you need from the start and gather your evidence well, you should be fine if you have everything you need!

Yes, thanks. :)  I've actually lived and worked in Saudi, Dubai and Qatar, and lived in Egypt for a little while with my ex.  You are right, lots of water and sunscreen!

I'm really looking forward to going to Kuwait!!
