Here is the truth:  the real reason Republicans hate hate hate Obamacare is that they knew folks would come to appreciate and depend upon the protection from the law.  That in fact happened late last year according to polls.  If Republicans rollout the law they passed in the house last week, they will kiss 2018 and possibly 2020 elections byebye.

 

 

 

How can we ignore that one?  As Jonathan Gruber said, they were trying to convince the dumb American electorate, so what's wrong with a few half-truths.  There are others of course.

 

'You can keep your doctor if you like your doctor'

'We are going to lower your premiums by $2500'

'No family making less than $250K will see a tax increase'

'I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to the deficit'

 

Of course many people like the ACA as people in general like a free lunch, but intelligent people know that in the end it has to be paid for, and the ACA is quickly heading to the depths of unsustainability.

Fortunately, the so-called president has a plan, and premiums will go down, everyone will have access to healthcare, and all will end up well.  The winning is just mind boggling!
