I can ask one of the immigration folks at work about this.  I'm not 100% of what you're needing.  I do know though that a notary can't certify a copy if the original was already signed (like a legal form or something) - they can only notarize documents that are signed in their presence. So that might be where the issue is? 

 

Someone else might know though...

Thanks Lovelyalex, we don`t have birth certificate . We have citizenship certificate and other document which is called proof of citizenship ...

Both I`v e already translated in certified translation company. I have the original ones but not in English . my question is " is these translated certificates will be accepted by USCIS.

Coz I think they need the translated documents to  be certified. I mean the translated copy .

Thanks a lot, I`ve already translated it to English by certified company in Ohio, but my question are these translated copies enough or I need to certified the English copies. Coz I heard need to be certified in the court I`m not sure.

In China, the certificate department will translate and stamp a seal on the document. And it is accepted by USCIS. I don't know other countries. My 2 cents is that as long it's translated to English and  notarized , it's ok.

Nope, we don`t have that at all, we have certified private offices for translated. I don`t think in the USA will accept their translation.

Rubya, on your translate document in English have the last page certify by your private office? If you like to see mine i will send the photo. You don't need to certify in court.

Any document that you submit in a foreign language must have a full English translation.

The translator of each document must certify that s/he is competent to translate the language and that the translation is accurate.
