The processing time depends on the field office. We are in Los Angeles field office, which means more people apply for N400 than small cities. So the processing time might be slow.

I just added mine. Looks like you're in line for interview. Hopefully I'll be too sometime soon.

How long after 'in line for interview' does it take in get the letter date interview??? I tried to add my Inf. In the list but I could not, can someone add me please

From what I gathered reading this thread, once you're placed inline for interview, it all depends on your local office ( how backed up they are). Some locations faster than others to schedule the actual interview. Check other threads on people who've gone thru process recently within your local area to guage your wait time. It's not an exact science, but it help giving you an idea how things are going. Hope this helps. G'luck.

@himalayanV It has been about 4 weeks since I went in line as well, still waiting to know the interview schedule .. I am not sure if I should keep my original plan of out of country travel plan in November & December for 6 weeks..

Nothing for us. Still in line for interview. I had a look today at the past months what is happening to those for Los Angeles office and it seems like 4 months after they are in line for interview they get the letter and then interview is for a month after that, so I have very low expectations at this time. I have a look at the case status in the morning and sometimes at night. Right now, I'm just here to be supportive of others

Haha, that is so nice of you LA is one of the busy ones.

I was so happy when I checked the processing times for Albany last month....and so disappointed when I noticed this month that it actually went BACK a month (from October processing to September processing). So i am not sure what to make of all this anymore.
