@laufine and @susysteele - did you get your interview dates? I received email on 2nd June that my case is in line for interview but not sure yet the actual date for interview.. I assume there will be separate email/mail once the actual date is scheduled.

We JUST got the email notice today that we're in line for interview. I imagine the actual letter with the interview date will be delivered in a week or so. Have no idea when the interview will be though.

In case you guys didn't check it, some interesting information here in these two threads about the delays with USCIS, and the background check fiasco that resulting in ALL background checks getting redone, even for those folks who had been approved and were waiting for their oaths.  Very sobering for those of us who are antsy for things to change and update quickly.  While we are not filers from last year, I do believe that we are all still affected while there is a backlog.

Does anyone have any nice plans for July 4th?

I keep seeing lots of decorations in stores and I think about when they get reduced later next week I should buy some on clearance and put them aside for celebrating my citizenship whenever that may happen! :jest:

I know I keep harping on about this month before 5 year anniversary theory with my outstanding bios, but that will be the 2nd of july so I'm hoping that some time after the 4th that I go in line. Looked at various threads with Chicago filers and  lot of those early filers did go in line on the exact day of that month before.

I think at this point its not a theory. To me its proven since almost everyone goes in line one month prior to their 3/5 years anniversary

Hello guys!

This is my first post here after looking for a forum with nice, informative and active people. You guys seem great!

Anyway, here is my timeline:
Texas Service Center

Field office: Albany, NY

Green Card Date: December 2010

N400 Sent: May 26th

Received: May 30th

Notice Date: May 31st

Biometrics Date: June 23rd

In line for Interview: June 27th

Anyone has any idea on upstate new york (Albany)? I noticed some people from Charleston SC got their interview letter and the processing times from Albany are pretty similar (Albany is actually 13 days ahead, I think).

Anyway, I am hoping to be active here and getting to know more about you guys in coming months!

I still think its a theory - we've seen exceptions on both sides of the date in this thread.

As for myself - not so lucky. I'm yet to be put in-line, was expecting a notification on the 28th - my month before anniversary, but no dice.

AOS

05/12/2014 (Day 060) Successful walk-in biometrics completed at Varick ST ASC

05/14/2014 (Day 062) Received text and e-mail notifications that I-485 status updated to "Testing and Interview"

07/25/2014 (Day 135) Went in for interview - was fairly straightforward

08/02/2014 (Day 143) Green Card in hand

ROC

06/24/2016 (Day 031) Early Walk-in biometrics completed

10/06/2016 (Day 135) Got I-551 stamp in passport

05/01/2017 (Day 342) ROC Approved - didn't get notification, hard copy received 05/05?

05/15/2017 (Day 356) Received 10Y Green Card in Mail

N400

05/24/2017 (Day 000) N400 package sent to Dallas/Lewisville Lockbox

06/09/2017 (Day 016) Received biometrics appointment notice for 06/20/2017, Early walk-in on 06/12

Thanks man! I thought this was fairly quick, hoping that it keeps going smoothly but you never know haha.

Does being in line for interview suggest that name check is done? I would imagine that can't really be done in 4 days but what do I know.
