My green card was issued in June 2007, which was good for 10 years. I got an extension through February next year at the field office when I did the biometircs for my I-90 (green card renewal) application, which allowed me to renew my driver's license. Thank goodness for that. No, this is the first time I've applied for naturalization.

Good luck ..

Yes that's a bit of a backlog for sure . I have been tracking all the threads for the last year and the current ten around is about 6.5 months for the majority of cases. I'd be delighted with that but that's wishful thinking !

I'm from California and filed to Arizona on 5/8. Should I check the Arizona processing times or  California processing times for n400? Anybody still waiting for "case in line for interview?

Welcome! Yes there are still quite a few. Check out the timelines and spreadsheet and add your details too!

Welcome to the thread!  You should be checking times for your local field office, but if your case is still showing as "we scheduled your biometrics" or you're not inline for interview yet, then your case hasn't even made it to the field office and you're still in the background check stage, like many of us!

BUT in the grand scheme of things I try to remember that I'm still living my life here, with my family.  It doesn't change anything for us right now.  I'm pretty lucky.  Although I would liked to have not spent a bunch of money and have nothing to show for it for a year or so!!

I updated my data that I've been tracking for Boston and while my post biometrics wait time is a little higher than average, it looks like most Boston cases get done from NOA to Oath in average in 196 days.  So I won't bother with an info pass etc, or a call, because they're going to tell me that Boston are still only working on cases from September 2016 right now.  And I don't want to waste the USCIS's time and delay people further.

AND I have seen in some monthly threads that some folks wait MONTHS for their bio to update, and then they get an interview date within the MONTH.  So there are always positives to think about!
