@deborabr glad you were able to get those biometrics done early!

Me too! There was only two other people in front of me and they got it done right away. I went to ask if my husband needed to be here for the interview as he deploys quite often and they told me no but that I am looking into a long waiting time until I have my interview =( we will see!!Since I don't get any notifications online I have to wait until I get the actual letter in the mail.

Waitinggame, your so right ! I was hoping to see more interview scheduled and in line for interview but let's see what Monday brings.

Funny   Maybe its only me hoping not to get the interview letter as of this time because Im waiting for two documents which I need to bring for the interview. First- my Passport which I renewed last month (MAY). Secondly- the Birth Certificates of my children. Im expecting to receive it next month  of July.  So I dont mind going for a later interview date.  For me, what is most important is Im with my hubby and holding a 10years gc.  Nothing much to worry about.

No unless it makes you out of the country for more than 6 months in your five years here. If it's for over 24 hrs just let the interviewer know when they get to the segment about time outside the US. I have seen some people say they brought an updated app page for that and others just told the interviewer.

When it gets to the segment about time outside the US during the interview, having your itinerary with you will help. Air or bus ticket and the hotel reservation for the time period . I read about this on other forums.

Went for fingerprinting this morning, it was pretty quick and went smoothly. Myself and wife were out in 10 minutes. Got the red book for preparation, I asked for the CD and was told that those are not given anymore, is that right? Waiting begins now.

Yup no CD anymore! But the USCIS do have a fun app you can download for your phone now!

@Mehrdad576 - @Waitinggame16 and @Gazy beat me to it!  just make sure you note down the dates/keep the itinerary for your interview.  This goes for any future travel outside of the US, regardless of the duration.

After you have fingerprinting done. Have your status online account changed or just keeping the same like Biometrics appointment was scheduled? I have no ideas.

I have completed my fingerprinting June 21. But my status is still the same. Nothing is updated yet.

Hey neighbor,

Glad you had a chance to pick booklet up. Security guards at 41st street are awesome.

Not in line as of yet --tho others on list seems making headways, which is great. USCIS timing is one of the few mysteries that I honestly can't figure out. So I'll start seeking fortune tellers, since all others have failed

Still, I keep a positive outlook on this whole thing.

I'll update my dates in Alex's Google sheet once I hear something.

Enjoy your study guide. Lots of fun facts B-)

Thanks for the words :)

I already started studying and it is interesting . I am a teacher myself so this time, I will be the student hhhhhi .

we'll ketch up on VJ and keep positive as well .

have a good night :)
