N-400 May 2017 Filers

I finished my fingerprinting, but when they took my fingerprint I had minor cut in one of my fingers, I noticed the cut so clear in the screen when the officer maximize the screen....and he said my fingerprints was perfect...did not say anything about the cut .....what do you think guys...are they calling me to take it again or maybe delay my intetview because of that....???? I am worried about that coz uscis website no update still saying your fingerprint was scheduled ....help , I dont what to do ?

@rubya I don't think they will delay your application because of your finger cut - the machine is sophisticated enough to tell the operator if the prints are good enough or not.  The agent doing mine basically told me the FBI only really need to key parts of the finger print to run the search.  Finger print search stuff is done automatically and takes 24-48 hours from the machine completing the process and it getting submitted.  The bit that apparently takes a bit longer is the FBI name search which is closer to a 2 week turn around... But if there are a lot of people ahead of you that will be where the delay is I think.

Wow I am a moron!  I knew I forgot to do something! Ha!  I just updated my details in my ALREADY EXISTING PROFILE from my earlier dealings with USCIS.

Just relax.  They might just deny your case because of a cut.

So - they had to redo a few of my prints on a few fingers, so I was asking questions about what was wrong etc. I like to ask questions about these things, because I have a technical brain so like to understand how things work. The women who processed my finger prints was explaining to me that the most important parts of a finger print are "the delta" and the swirly bit in the middle (AKA as the core), so they have to be sure to get that in the flat print and the one where they roll your finger back and forth.

 

By the time they are done your prints have already been electronically delivered to the FBI she told me!

NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

I am like you too ! Sent the application may 22 and nothing yet . But I did not send the  G-1145 . Was that a mistake ?

Is your case actually saying in line for an interview?  I only ask because just because you've done your biometrics, it doesn't mean that you've cleared the background checks yet, so is potentially misleading.

I wouldn't worry about it.  As soon as you get NOA you can sign up online to get all your updates.  I'm still waiting, no check cashed, no NOA and no updates.  Good luck!!
