I agree with you about the google docs but I think it has been discussed previously that in order to help other people who will refer to this thread later for a guide on how long it took to process at various field offices, that we should be updating both. BUT that is up to you where you put your information of course. I just know that I go back over all the other months to get a guide on how long it took and only look at the VJ timelines.

Had my scheduled biometrics today!  All went well.  For the benefit of anyone using the search function on the site and are looking for information on the Revere USCIS center, I was there today.  It's a new building, relatively a month old, next to a DMV center, tucked behind a very strange strip mall in a very industrial/commercial part of Revere.  The rotary it is tucked behind is an utter clusterf**k but thankfully they had at least 4 sets of traffic lights to stagger traffic coming in and going out.  I really hope I don't have to go back there for my interview because my car navigation took me through the city at morning rush hour, and then back again through the city coming out!

 

The building was shiny new, and well set out, it wasn't too busy when I arrived - I got there at 9.18am because traffic was terrible so planned ahead.  I got checked in, waited my turn for my biometrics, the staff were very friendly and gave me a booklet to study for my civics test.  All of the biometrics equipment is brand new.  I am not sure if this new center is replacing the one on Portland Street but the women I spoke to said she used to work there, but now works in Revere, and it was a lot better for her commute.  By the time I left, just before 10am (when my appointment was actually scheduled) the parking lot was INSANE so I am glad I went early to get a spot and not have to fight someone for one.  There were a lot of people in there today not following the rules and using their cell phone and had to keep on being told to go outside. The women helping me said my finger prints had "already been sent off automatically" so now I guess I wait a bit and see what happens!  The staff were very friendly and helpful but stern and busy trying to process a lot of people for various different reasons, a lot of which seemingly did not come prepared.

I mailed mine on May 12. I got a notification about the fingerprint appointment letter being mailed out by email yesterday.
