Update:

I had my naturalization interview this morning, Aug. 2, 2018 at Fort Myers, FL. My naturalization was approved, thank you Lord and to the full support of my husband since we started this process. My interview experienced is wonderful. Our conversation is very light and the IO made me very comfortable. If a job interview will gonna be like that, I will not hesitate to go to a job interview everyday!...  I did prepared lots of documents that was listed in the notice paper but she didn't even ask for it. She showed me a thick pile of my documents beside her desk and she said, you know these are yours?....😂 thinking omg she have all the docs. probably since the first step we did this process .... Most of the time I spent in the room of the IO is basically we are just chatting, no kidding... about me and my family... then the test begun, I was asked to read 3 sentences, I was instructed to write one sentence and I was asked 6 questions from the Civic Lessons for the Naturalization Test. I got it all correct of course!..., By the end of the interview she said to me that, she hope every applicant is like me.  And that's it.... I got approved, she congratulated me and she told me that I will be scheduled for my Oath Taking next week. Before I left the building I already have my paper for my oath ceremony, Aug. 09, 2018. And after 2 and half hours my cellphone beep informing me that my case online was updated.😊

Hello all, I been following everyones journey and I am finally able to say that I have my interview scheduled for Monday, September 10! I am very happy but the nerves are kicking in! I have been studying for the test and I'm confident in that area. What worries me is that I took some trips across the Mexican border for a few days throughout the years and I don't really remember the exact dates.. I estimated approximate dates on my application- does anyone have any information about what will happen? Thank you everyone.

Use https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search to get the exact dates over the last 5 years. You can correct your history at the interview.

Thank you for your reply! :)

I tried thorough the website that you provided but I did not use my passport when I traveled. My passport is actually expired, I just used my permanent resident card.

edit: I traveled by car across the border for a few days and did not travel further into Mexico.

I had my interview scheduled this morning 9am in Houston, TX. I arrived 25 minutes early. I checked in and as soon as I sat in the waiting room, my name was called. (For reference, I was sitting back in my car after the interview at 9:05!! So the interview lasted maybe 20-25 minutes) The officer was very nice! She asked me to read a sentence, write a sentence and asked me 6 civic questions. We went over my entire application. She asked me if I had any supporting documents such as lease or bills with both mine and my husbands name. I provided lease and asked her if she would like my tax transcripts. She took those documents and said that they were enough supporting documents. She asked me if I had traveled out of the country since I filed, I told her I did and that I had the dates but they were estimated dates and not exact, she said that it was fine as long as I wasn't out of the country for more than 6 months and took the sheet of paper with all the dates. She then congratulated me and said that she was going to approve my application. She did say that she always takes a 2nd look at her applications and would make a decision by the end of the day and that I should receive a notice in the mail with the Oath ceremony date. She said maybe in October or November. She also gave me a map and location of the Oath ceremony and what to take . Now to wait just a little more lol 😛

Hi, I'm happy to see the thread winding down - maybe most of May 2017 filers are finished?

I had an oath ceremony scheduled July 19, but had to miss it for work.

On Sept 10, they notified me a new oath ceremony scheduling letter is on the way.

It should arrive over the weekend. I'll let you know what date the new Oath Ceremony is scheduled for.

This is in Brooklyn, NY. Have a great weekend.

Hi,
I had my Oath Ceremony on Friday, 9/28.

Thank goodness it's all over. I'm now a US citizen!

My ceremony was in Brooklyn, NY

and we had a judge who gave a very inspiring speech.

Everything took about 3 hours total.

Best of luck to everyone.

NC1987 is there an update on your oath ceramony yet

Morning,

Sorry I haven't really used this forum for a while. Unfortunately I am still in the same position as I was the last time I checked in. I am still waiting for a date to be sworn in, every trip to the USCIS in Orlando I come away with a different response from the officer. It has been nearly 6 months (tomorrow) since I was interviewed and I am still waiting to be sworn in.

Sorry to hear that, but what is the reason behind your oath delay?

Being honest, I am not sure. I am still waiting on my I-751 to be approved. I applied in July 2016 and in May, I was told it had been moved to the Missouri office to speed the process up. However I have had 4 infopass appointments and all have said that my I751 is sat in Orlando (my field office). I was supposed to have an I751 interview the same day as my N400, but the officer was aware neither was I, so It got left. I was told I should hear about my oath in 7-10 days, I am now 6 months later, and all I am being told, is that they are behind and I will have to wait and be patient. on all 4 info pass appointments, I have filled in a document which was going to be passed to the officer who interviewed me, to go to the next stage, but so far nothing has progressed. I have also placed an out of processing time, as they are now dealing with N400mapplications after my date, and I received a letter in the mail saying I should get a response in 60-90 days (last week). So if it is 90 days, I could effectively have been interviewed in April 2018 and still waiting to be sworn in comewhat early 2019. I would rather be told yes or no, opposed to this constant radio silence.
