Congratulations!

I was interviewed on September 26 and I passed. But I have not received the approval letter or Oath Ceremony yet. I don’t know what’s wrong going on.

I am still waiting for my Oath date. I saw on a facebook page, a guy who was approved the same day as me, was given his date on Friday (same Orlando field office). I was hoping to hear something, but I am still waiting.

Congratulations @hopephilly

It must have been a great oath ceremony.

No more uscis nightmares for you

And I'm very happy for you!

On a different note, is anyone else suffering with this website endless malwares making it sometimes impossible to either read or post into it?

Hello Group members,

I'm waiting since June 21st post-Biometric but no information over the email/text/call.

The fingerprint was done on 21st June 2017 but status still shows that "On June 7, 2017, we scheduled you for a fingerprint appointment and mailed you an appointment notice for Receipt Number NBC*XXXXXX" No updates after that.

  • May 30, 2017: Credit Card Charged
  • May 31, 2017: Rcvd text from USCIS: Your Case was received. Recipt# NBC*xxx
  • June 7, 2017, Received letter for fingerprint
  • June 21, 2017, appeared and fingerprint/bio completed.

Waiting for next update but no luck. Please guide...

Thanks in advance.

@n400_may_2017 ,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I'm in a similar situation. No update after an early June 2017 biometric.

My local field office showing up to 15.5 months processing time for n400s. Even though all Philly filers have gotten updates and their file adjucated within 9-10 months on aveage.

Check your local field office processing time upper limit then plan accordingly.

What I will do is try to schedule an info pass by months end to make sure my file is still being worked on and just waiting on name check I guess.

Some applicants contacted their congressman once upper time limit was reached without getting any results; and some have enen filed a lawsuit - Writ of Mandamus- to get their application adjucated. Every case is different yet USCIS doesn't really tell you much unless they needed more info as in RFE

I'm no expert, just a filer, so your best bet would be an immigration attorney if you have real concerns regarding your application.

Keep your chin up, pretty sure you'll hear back from USCIS soon.

Hope this helps.

Hello hopephilly, thanks.

As I called customer service and they said I have to wait since my case is still in normal process time. Looks like they will take more time. Just would like to inform that I had to wait for 4 years when my wife filled my I-131 application and it got stuck due to name check when I was in India.

Also checked online and here is the standard answer

"Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. Further information about recent processing times can be viewed on the uscis.gov webpage."

my field office is USCIS ELIZABETH 285 N Broad Street NJ-07208
