thank you so much and normally how long it takes since I already wait one month already .

I suggest that you contact your field office since it has been so long. It all depends on when you had your interview and when the next available oath ceremony date is. Since my appointment, I had to wait for about 9 days for the oath ceremony.

Today, is 5 months since I was put in to Interview being scheduled. Still haven't heard anything further in regards to when my interview will be. Orlando field office are finally processing 2017 applicants as of yesterdays data released, so that's a positive.....

Me too....my case status never updated from "Your case was received..." Seems Anchorage field office still working on March 17, 2017 cases. Does anyone know why some offices are so backed up?

Don't think its gonna be in ja uary.. according to my visit at chicago office it looks like april .  :(

😨 How do they figure that? What did they say?  Current processing dates indicate a Feb interview and they are currently calling April filers for interview according to the Chicago thread. This is very unfair. I early filed in May but if I had online filed in August I'd be done.

Hello all

I filed on May 15 2017

Fingerprints on June 5

In line for interview July 13

Field office is  Queens NY

I  just looked at the updated processing time on the USCIS website, and Queens NY went from December 2016 as of September 30 2017 to October 9 2016 as of October 31 2017. Is this backward movement normal?

I Went there with info pass on dec 4 and then they said they are processing cases who filed in january 25 or 26 (Can't remember correctly) so they said since I applied in may so consider 3-4 months more waiting time.  :( Sorry but thats what they said. I am from chicago too .

They have started sending interview letters to first week of April 2017 filers in Chicago. I'm estimating Feb for us May filers.

I'm going to hold out hope for a late January letter. Grasping at anything! 😀

Congrats to you all who attended today's citizenship ceremony in Los Angeles.

Thank you...it was great to finish up the process.  Passport application has been sent.  Not sure about notifying Social Security as my husband has been a permanent resident for almost 60 years and has worked here his entire adult life.  He has a social security card, collects retirement benefits and medicare.  If anyone knows of a reason to still contact Social Security, please post.

Thanks, and best of luck to everyone here on their journey to citizenship.  Even though it's a long cumbersome one, it will be worth the wait.
