My husband is also a Chicago filer and has been in line since July 3. No news. But I saw a few March 2017 filers get interview letters.

I've heard mixed reports, but I was not asked for them.  I didn't bother bringing them just in case either.  You wouldn't need 4 either.  For those that did bring them to the interview it was because there was issues with the picture that was taken at their biometric appointment, so really I think only one or two would have sufficed.  Not sure why people are bringing 4, especially given how expensive passport photos are nowadays!

I just had my interview on Monday and the IO gave me an application for the passport and she wrote on it to bring two to the ceremony but she told me while I was leaving to bring four. O guess there was something to do with the picture taken on my biometrics.  She told me the reason is because the picture will be for my file.  Maybe they did not accept my picture in the biometrics.  Also two because one for my file n 1for the certificate.  I was reading the Dept of State website and it requires two pictures for passport

Thank you for letting me know.  I do not know why the IO told me to bring 4 pictures to the ceremony.   To be safe I will just follow what she told me when I go to the ceremony.  I am still waiting for the notice in the mail.  I just had my interview on Monday and have been approved.    Thank you@lovelyalex.
