I was speaking with a friend a minute ago and she told me that she filed her application for citizenship online. Is that possible? I thought you have to mail required documents to USCIS. I think she forgot or my thinking is wrong as per N-400 application.

Perhaps she was thinking of I-90 (the renewal of the green card)??  Which I've submitted online myself.

Just revised my sent date. Apparently, I had not sent the latest version of the N400 Form. Had sent a september 2016 version, but seems there is now a december 2016 version. I had started filling it out months ago, and didn't check for an updated version :( . Ah well!

I did the same damn thing.  I sent it this past Monday and it arrived yesterday so I'm just waiting for it to be accepted.  Super frustrating!

I'm also ready to send my N-400 package next week, but i would like to ask you Guys did you include in your packages 2 photos passport size?????

I spoke with an attorney and he advised me to include 2 photos also, and i decided to ask you.I'm going to be very happy to hear more answers from you.

NVC- Green Card in Hand: 189 days

Feb 3, 2014: TSC sends case to NVC
April 14: Real checklist for AOS (saying tax number was incorrect when it wasn't)
April 30: Another AOS checklist, for proof of employment (which was already sent)
May 1: Checklist for IV- certified marriage certificate (even though I sent a certified one originally)
July 1: INTERVIEW!!! - APPROVED!
July 16: POE through Miami
July 22: SSN card in the mail
August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!
 
ROC: 366 days
April 27, 2016: Sent 300 page ROC packet to VSC via overnight mail
May 16: Check shown as charged online, received NOA 1 dated April 29
June 20, 2016- Biometrics
April 28, 2017: Approval
May 4, 2017: Approval letter arrived
May 15, 2017: GC arrives in mail
 
N-400: 190 days
May 8: Sent packet to Dallas Lockbox
May 12: NOA 1, Credit card charged
June 7: Biometrics
June 16: "In line"
Oct 2: Interview letter arrives (online status still says ''in line'')
Oct 31: Interview- Approved!
Nov 13: Oath ceremony!  Applied for passport & registered to vote on site.
Nov 22: Passport arrives (paid for expedited service and overnight delivery)

You must type same as the case number appeared in your NOA letter. Mine is like NBC*000000000.

I didn't include 2 photos with my application package. If you live in US when you process the application, you don't have to send 2 photos. However, I decide to bring 2 photos with me on the interview. I read some post. Some interview officer need the photo. Or it may delay your decision. So don't sent them with your package, but bring them on the interview day.
