I received the notification for oath ceremony today.  In the notice, it states to also bring other documents USCIS issued to me.  Did anyone bring any additional documents apart from the notification and Green Card?  Thank you.

I thought it was just the notification and green cards .

When is your oath? Wondering what much notice they give you

@Waitinggame16, I received a call on Friday March 23 (after 5 pm) from USCIS asking me if I can make it to the special location on April 10.  My online status was updated on Monday, March 26 and I received the notification on Thursday, March 29.  So 2 weeks in advance for me.

i think if it is a regular case, most people receive the notification about one month in advance.

Since your status was recently updated, you will probably receive the notice sometime next week and I guess that your oath may be towards the end of April.

Good luck to us all.  Finally we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Hello,

I just joined and wanted to say hello.

We applied May 24, 2017 and our n-400 is being processed together with the i-751 (Removal of Conditions on the Green Card).

After moving from Chicago to New York and months of waiting, it looks like our files have moved from NBC to the local field office on March 5th, 2018.

Since then, no news. I thought I'd call the help line today to see if they have any more info.

If anyone can advise on how long before the next step (Interview scheduling), I thank you!

I had my Interview today at Orlando. It was scheduled for 09:30, so got there at about 09:00. Was relatively busy but not too bad. However it was about 11:45 before I was called for interview. Very straight forward process. Was asked the 6 questions. I cant remember all 6 of them, but the 1s I recall were; 1) who wrote the declaration of independence 2) what are the 2 popular political parties 3) who is the VP 4) who is the commander in chief of the military 4) name 1 war USA fought in the 1900s 5) 1 state that borders Mexico . Was asked to read ''where do congress meet?'' and write ''congress meet in Washington''. This was basically the whole interview. I had taken additional documents as per my attorney, but none of these were required. We spent the next 20 minutes talking with the interviewee about her dogs. Had a really nice lady who made the whole process flow very easily and never at 1 stage  made me feel uneasay. she explained that she was running late, because the previous person had turned up 1 hour late for their interview. Was given the approval letter and told to expect an oath ceremony in the mail in the next few weeks.

Some questions does not specify how many answers are expected like the ones below. If you give just one of the possible answers would that be enough?

What is the rule of law?

What does Constitution do?

Why did the colonists fight the British?

What is an amendment?

Who makes federal laws?

Yes, one answer will be enough
