Hi all,

I have a quick question. We are applying for K1 visa and was thinking to get the document notarized but confused what kind of notarization is required. Is it Jurat or acknowledgement?

Thanks in advance

Neither,  not required

YMMV

I did also include two months worth of our messages back and forth (I edited some of the naughty parts out) which border security loved. If you need help, send me a message and we can chat more!

how did you "edit" out the naughty parts of your messages?? My fiance and I sure do love to drop the F bomb a lot in our Facebook messages I'm noticing 😅 also lots of naughty messages as well and not sure if "editing" out stuff is tampering with proof of evidence??

I chose two different months worth of messages (which was over 1000 pages!) between us and took the time to go through and removed any naughty bits or full naughty conversations that didn’t directly effect the flow of other conversations (if I could remove it and the rest of the conversation still made sense, I removed it). I did not remove any swear words as we also said a lot of them and I felt that if I removed too much it would no longer be “us”. So there was certainly a lot of swear words and there were a lot of naughty bits I couldn’t edit out too. USCIS didn't care, they want to see you’re real with each other!
