Can I schedule interview early?

I received the letter saying that NVC received my fiances visa and is sending it to the U.S embassy in Amman. I know what the next steps are (fill out DS-160, Pay the visa fee at bank, schedule interview etc). My question is can I submit the DS 160 form now and pay the bank fee and schedule interview? It's because I dont want to waste a lot of time just waiting for simple instructions when I already know what to do (if i fill out now the earliest interview date is July 9 ) What do you guys think? I just want to secure the interview date and then when the rest of the papers come in from the embassy, I will gather them together. Any thoughts?
